Mircea Lucescu wird neuer Nationaltrainer der Türkei

Nachdem Fatih Terim am 26. Juli entlassen wurde, hat der türkische Verband nun einen Nachfolger gefunden.

Wie der türkische Fußballverband am Mittwoch bestätigte, übernimmt der Rumäne Mircea Lucescu den Trainerposten der Nationalmannschaft.

Türkische Medien zufolge soll der 72-Jährige 2,5 Millionen Euro jährlich verdienen.
Am kommenden Freitag werde er offiziell in Istanbul vorgestellt.
Lucescu trainierte bereits die türkischen Mannschaften Galatasaray Istanbul und Besiktas.

Die ukrainische Mannschaft Donezk führte er zwischen 2004 und 2016 achtmal zum Meistertitel und gewann 2009 im Finale gegen Werder Bremen den UEFA-Cup.

Die türkische Nationalmannschaft soll der Rumäne nun zur WM 2018 führen.
