Antalya Airport accepted more than 13 thousand aircraft in July

The International Airport of Antalya, beat all records on passenger traffic this year. So, the airport accepted more than 13 thousand aircraft in July, which means almost 18 planes landed every hour.

And more than 82% of these flights were international. In total, more than 2 million citizens of other countries were recorded at the airport last month. Note that almost all the tourists that visit the province of Antalya, arrive by air.

According to the Governor of the province, Munir Karaoglu, if the flow of tourists continues to grow at the same rate next year, the airport will be in need of new international terminals.
