Business tourism will be developed in Turkey

The Turkish authorities mentioned that business tourism would be financially simulated in the country.

The measures will be the same as in cruise tourism: a certain amount will be paid for each tourist arriving in Turkey for business purposes.

According to the Association of Turkish Travel Agencies (TURSAB), the share of business tourism in the overall tourist flow has significantly decreased recently. Meanwhile, there are all conditions for business tourism, including comfortable hotels with modern conference rooms, etc... in such large cities as Istanbul, Ankara and Izmir.

"You can come here in large and small groups for symposia, congresses. Not everyone knows about this. Therefore, we shouldn't just stimulate business tourism financially, but also conduct information campaigns," emphasized TURSAB.
